Oslo is one of the possible venues for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games, but Norwegians are currently split about hosting them. A new survey today via Aftenposten shows that the majority in Oslo and Akershus are in support, while the rest of the country is in opposition. A lot of people fear it will be a costly event and drain the country’s wallets, with some preferring any money allocated for the event to go to other projects. Norway last hosted the Winter Olympic Games in 1994 in Lillehammer.
